  Google maps is the most reliable GPS information system it is thus far. I love how it allows you to choose rather, you are walking, bus transit or car riding. Why I give it Five *'s is; that it gives you real time traffic/accident information about 10-20 miles before you approach the scene and automatically finds a different route. I use Google maps on my Apple device as well as my galaxy note 4 device.
